Satsavya

The search to live consciously with joy and the question "Who I am" brought me to the mystic Osho and his modern meditation techniques and so to dance, movement, self-exploration workshops and last but not least to somatic bodywork. During this inquisitive journey it became clear that touch is my way to share my being.

In my body-work exploration I have played with Reiki, Core-integration and Thai Yoga massage. Questioning how the benefit of a session can be taken home by the reciever brought me to the "Psychophysical Integration Method" of Milton Trager MD. Big names for simple but deep healing movements based e.g. on feeling weight. The experience with the Trager® Approach opened a total new dimension in my body-work. A deepening happens through finding the balance between doing and no-doing. Remembering not wanting to change but inviting restrictions felt in the body - How can it be freer, lighter, softer? The Trager® Approach, not being a technique, but again and again a discovery of what is possible in the moment, corresponded with what I had been intuitively experimenting with. The most potent aspects of the Trager® Approach are that everyone can benefit from it - from young to old - and the ability that the well-being experienced in a session can be sustained in daily live with the Mentastics® movements and the "Recall".

It is again and again so touching to see the reciever after a session moving again so light, so free, in their own length, in their own grace! The effectivity of this approach on so many body problems, physically and psychologically are still for me magical. It gives me comfort in welcoming everyone with whatever issue is there.

Inspiring so many people to regain the pathway to feeling and being, to rediscover their natural posture and to use the body without effort is my passion, delight and joy. Sharing Osho’s pearls of active meditations techniques and meditation-therapies is a blessing!

The Art of Listening

My greatest support and inspiration is Osho and his precious meditation techniques. Listening to his discourses is a guide for me to be more present. This art of listening is a great support in my Trager® work. Dr. Milton Trager is my great inspiration in bringing the same qualities of presence, listening, silence and acceptance through touch in my body work.

Satsavya is a mother of 3. She lived in many countries, took part in experimental groups concerning meditation and body-awareness and shares her work worldwide. She is now based in Burgh Haamstede, Zeeland in the Netherlands, were she just opened her new practice: ZipZen - Health through BodyMind Integration.
